Volunteers’ Week is an annual campaign which celebrates the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK. It takes place every year from 1st to 7th June, so this year coincides with the celebrations happening for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. It is a chance to recognise and promote the difference volunteers make to your organisation and to say thank you for all their hard work.
This year VCH will be doing the following to celebrate Hackney’s Volunteers:
- Thank You Certificates: VCH can provide Volunteer Week Certificates to say thank you to all your volunteers – just send us a list of names to VCH and we’ll do the rest.
- We want to highlight lots of amazing volunteers on our website that week. So let us know if you have some volunteering stars who wouldn’t mind being featured.
- Staff and volunteers are available to attend your events, whether to present
certificates, provide information to people interested in volunteering or to take photos
for wider publication. - You can find out more about Volunteers Week at www.volunteering.org.uk. Also, check
