VCH and Hackney Homes working in partnership
Volunteer Centre Hackney and Hackney Homes are working together to create unique volunteering opportunities for Hackney Homes residents.
By registering on this project Hackney Homes residents have the opportunity to develop work related skills, improve their prospects of gaining employment and develop their knowledge and understanding of Hackney Homes, its performance and services. Full support will be given to each volunteer, enabling them to work towards personal goals with our expert help and advice. Each volunteer will also receive one to one support regarding next step solutions.
This opportunity is available to both employed and unemployed Hackney Homes residents exclusively.
Volunteering can be an excellent way of learning new skills, building on existing knowledge and adding to your CV, to find the employment that is right for you. It can be a chance for personal development, to meet new people within your community and make a positive impact upon it.
