Those working in health and social care in Hackney can attend one of our upcoming Inside Your Neighbourhood workshops to meet and talk with residents, learn about the neighbourhood model, and discover the role of the voluntary sector in supporting improved health and wellbeing.

What will I learn in the workshop?
By the end of the workshop, health and social care professionals will have a better understanding of how to refer patients into the voluntary and community sector, and they’ll discover how it supports improved health and wellbeing.
For instance, GPs frequently refer patients to our Together Better service, which empowers volunteers to host fun activities at their GP practice, or our Community Befriender service, which reduces loneliness in Hackney.
Those who attended previous workshops said: “I liked being able to physically be a part of some of the sessions so I can see how they benefit patients. I feel more confident to prompt patients to the services.”
