Food delivery services are still in urgent need of drivers and packing volunteers to help deliver essentials to local residents in need. Get on your bike and help deliver food for Amurt as a Delivery Volunteer, or help deliver hot meals for Shoreditch Trust’s Community Table project. Tech-minded and looking to help? Familiar with audio visual equipment and looking to help out? Newington Green Meeting House are looking for a volunteer to support their Events Team to ensure the smooth running of their events.
If you’re passionate about health and wellbeing, Healthwatch Hackney are seeking volunteers to help guide the direction of health and social care as part of their Neighbourhood Resident Involvement Group and Board. They’re also in need of Telephone Outreach Volunteers, to help reach the community over the phone.
If you’ve got finance, business or funding experience, help local organisations continue to fund their essential work. A Grants Officer is needed for local groups such as Natange who need fundraising volunteers to help identifying and sourcing funds to support their campaigns and work in the community.
