Struggling to find fun things to do during lockdown? Why not create a Christmas card for isolated people in your local community?
Volunteer Centre Hackney is channeling the borough’s creativity by encouraging everyone to send inspiring messages of love and hope to people living in residential homes in Hackney.
If you haven’t got time to volunteer regularly, this is a great way to give a couple of hours – all from the comfort of your own home. You can do it at your own pace or turn it into an activity for the whole family.
We’ll even be hosting an online group card making session at 1pm on Wednesday 9 December if you’d like to get together with other local residents and craft along with a cup of tea!
