Come to Volunteer Centre Hackney’s Volunteer Fair and be inspired by local charities seeking people like YOU to help them do amazing things. VCH’s first Volunteer Fair of 2019 is taking place on Wednesday 30 January at Dalston CLR James Library from 12-2pm.
A new year is always a great time to think about making positive changes – and volunteering is a great way to start. From baking bread to playing games, there are hundreds of different roles on offer across the borough. Whether you can give an hour a week or an hour a month, VCH can help you find your ideal role. Taking place from 12pm, you can pop in on your lunch break or on your way to pick up the kids.
Charities attending on the day include: Read Easy, Young Hackney, Sense, Oxfam, Mini Mermaids Running Club UK, Universal Board Games, Clean Up UK, Healthwatch, Hackney Brocals, City & Hackney Carers Centre, Turn2Us, Hackney Pirates.
This is a free event, open to all, so children are welcome, plus refreshments – put the date in your diary, then pop by and meet us!
