We’ve put together some ways for students and young people to start volunteering. Whether you want to start a fun activity this half term, volunteer for Duke of Edinburgh, want something flexible or one-off that fits around your studies, or gain skills for your CV, there’ll be something for you.

Volunteering for under 16s

🍰 Bake cakes at home and drop them off at the Second Chance Café, to be served to homeless or vulnerable people

🥣 Help serve food to local people who need it at Storehouse’s food Bank/Soup Kitchen

🛍️ Get retail experience with Shaw Trust, raising money to help people with disabilities or disadvantages to find work

🏃🏽‍♀️Help out at Finsbury Park Run as a Community Sports Volunteer with Finsbury Park Run

🌙 Join hundreds of other volunteers at The MoonWalk London on Saturday 18th May, supporting the thousands of Walkers to raise millions for breast cancer patients and research

Volunteering for 16+

🎨 Share your love of art and play with young children at Round Chapel Old School Rooms
