VCH is seeking a Prescription Delivery Coordinator to help ensure people have access to vital medicine through the second wave of the pandemic. You will be responsible for the coordination of our prescription delivery service, matching volunteers with pharmacies across Hackney.
You will coordinate and implement the continuous recruitment and training of volunteers, build relationships with local pharmacies, and provide ongoing support to both.
This role will require a good head for logistics, including knowledge of Zoom and Excel, and the ability to put people at ease who may be anxious and concerned.
Local pharmacies expect to be inundated with requests to deliver medication over the winter months, as the flu season kicks in and the levels of coronavirus infections increase. They are also expected to play a major role in the roll-out of the COVID vaccinations as soon as they are available.
City and Hackney Clinical Commissioning Group have commissioned VCH to deliver this service to start as soon as possible, and to continue until at least the end of January, but potentially until the end of March.
To apply, please send your completed application forms to [email protected] by 9am on Friday 20 Nov 2020. If you have any questions or are having any difficulties completing the forms please email Charlotte or Lauren or call them on 020 7241 4443 ext 2008/2001.
