🏞️ Those passionate about developing knowledge in sustainability and green spaces should meet Lee Valley Regional Park Authority, who are planning a 26-mile long environmental park which stretch across East London.
👪 Chat about roles such as administration and supporting health groups with Shoreditch Trust. This organisation hosts events such as, but not limited to, wellbeing groups, cooking groups for those aged between 11 and 16, and coffee mornings for new and expectant mums.
🦜 Are you a wordsmith looking to help people build written and creative skills? Say hello to Literacy Pirates, and find out how you can help them teach literacy skills to young people.
🥗 Budding Jamie Olivers should look no further than Made in Hackney. This organisation sends emergency plant-based meals to households, and you could help by cooking or delivering meals.

🌲 You could build a track record in research, communications or design by volunteering with East London Waterworks Park. This organisation is currently transforming a disused Thames Water depot into a rainforest, so they’re a must-meet for all nature lovers!
📖 Want to increase your experience in creative industries or youth work? Meet Ministry of Stories to learn how you could help young children develop confidence and imagination through writing.
👶🏽 Those pondering a career in anything from healthcare to social media should make a point of visiting National Childbirth Trust’s stall. National Childbirth Trust help families through pregnancy and early parenthood, and are well worth a conversation if you’re passionate about little ones and family issues.
🧑🤝🧑 Interested in a career in disability issues or the housing sector? Consider meeting Outward Housing, who help ensure people with disabilities can live independently.
🏠 If you’re eager to pursue a career in social care, or want to pick up abilities in offering advice or guidance to homeless people, speak with Providence Row, who also currently take on catering and front of house volunteers.
🧒 Potential role models for young people could volunteer for The Kids Network – you could play a part in building a child’s confidence, resilience and ability to manage their feelings.
