Community Connector

Help and campaign for carers in your local area with Carers UK! You’d be helping connect carers to valuable support and information by distributing Carers UK materials – such as leaflets and posters – within your community.

Children’s Play Activity Volunteer

Help pregnant women and new mothers who have survived war, violence, trauma to integrate in UK society with Hackney Baby Community. You’ll be part of an inclusive all-female environment, caring for babies for a couple of hours a week to support their mothers.

LGBTQ+ Group Facilitator

Joining ELOP’s LGBT+ Group Facilitators team, you will be part of an enthusiastic and dedicated team who value & appreciate the benefit of supporting others to socialise & network, supporting LGBT+ people to come together in a welcoming, safe and supportive environment with opportunities to meet new people, form new friendships, gain peer support and much more.

Children Mentor Volunteer

Give as little as one hour a week to support a Little Londoner in 1:1 weekly sessions centred around building connections and having fun. Whether you’re playing games or discussing goals, mentoring can provide a consistent and stable space for a child going through a transitional period in their lives.

Hackney Night Shelter Volunteer

This is a fantastic role for someone who wants to make a real difference in their local community by supporting people without a home. Our greatest need is for people who can give an evening on Friday or a period of time over Saturday or Sunday, serving food and drinks, chatting with guests and helping to keep the shelter a safe and friendly place to be. Shifts vary in length from 3-4 hours.

Autism Christmas Project Volunteer

Want to put smiles on the faces of young people and boost your CV during the festive period? Join Kith and Kids as an Autism Christmas Project Volunteer. You’ll support children with autism or learning difficulties as they take part in fun-filled activities such as photography, football, cooking and days out in London. Don’t delay applying if you’re interested in youth work or social care.

To arrange a a face-to-face appointment at our office in Dalston, email us. We do in-person appointments on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10am – 3pm.
