Near You Volunteer (City of London)

Keen to support individuals who struggle with their hearing? RNID are looking for volunteers to help offer a free, in-person drop-in service for people who are deaf, have hearing loss, or want to get their hearing checked at their Near You sessions at the Neaman Practise in the City of London. Near You volunteers can support in multiple ways to help make life fully inclusive for deaf people and people with hearing loss and tinnitus.

Disabled Swimmer Support

Could you give time regularly to support people with disabilities to swim and be active in the water? WeSwim are looking for volunteers to support neurodiverse swimmers achieve goals that they set, whether this be working on their swimming technique, improving confidence with existing skills, or just feeling comfortable in the water.

LEGO® Workshop Volunteer

Looking for a role where you can support youngsters in a welcoming community space? The ThreadPoint Foundation are looking for workshop volunteers to create a warm, positive atmosphere at their sessions that aim to help children build, explore and learn through hands-on creative activities.

Meet and Greet Volunteer (City of London)

Interested in being a friendly face of an exercise class for City of London residents? MRS Independent Living’s Staying Steady class provides strength and balance exercises for people aged 55 to 100+ who are at risk of falls. Volunteers are needed to greet people as they arrive at the centre, make them welcome and offer them a cup of tea or coffee before their class starts. If you think you would be able to offer a friendly atmosphere to older people, register interest in this role.

General volunteer for Community Dining & Social Club

Want to support the enhancement of mental health and social belonging for the community? My Dinner With CIC are looking for volunteers to join their community dining and social clubs. Volunteers interested in either light kitchen support (chopping, mixing or washing up), or hosting/serving for a Bi-Monthly Community Dining & Social Club combining Food, Music and Creative Arts are encouraged to register interest and join their volunteer team for fun, friendship and connecting with community.

Interested in playing a key role in helping a small charities’ support groups run smoothly? Headway East London are looking for three casework volunteers to support them with the administration and behind-the-scenes tasks that make their sessions for people living with brain injuries welcoming, organised, and impactful.
