VCH are looking for 3 new trustees to join their Board, to play a key role in the growth and development of the charity.
We are looking for people with different backgrounds and experience, to help our Board reflect the huge diversity that makes up the borough of Hackney.
We are also looking for people who have experience of working in a charity or community group or in a service user focused environment; and/or have an interest and knowledge of how to really build equalities and diversity into and across an organisation.
We do not expect new trustees to be high up in their careers, or to have any experience of leadership. We just want people who are passionate about volunteering and who are keen to contribute to the workings of a charity. Whatever your own unique experience has been up until now, it will be important.
All new trustees will be supported by other trustees, and given training. Decisions are made as part of the team, and your opinions and views will be valued.
Our trustee meetings are every two months, Wednesday evenings 6-8pm.
